Delete your Twine account
You can delete your Twine account and the personal data we hold on our servers at any time.
In the app (recommended)
- Open Twine and sign in.
- Go to Me (your profile).
- Tap Delete Account and confirm with your password.
This removes your account from our servers and signs you out on the device. When you log out or delete your account in the app, local cached messages on that device are cleared.
By email
If you cannot access the app, email support@redwoodchip.com from the address on your Twine account. Include the email you used to register. We will verify ownership and complete deletion within a reasonable time.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes your profile, server-side message ciphertext, membership data, device registrations, and push tokens tied to your account, subject to short backup retention for security and operations. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Deleting your account is permanent. Disabling or logging out does not delete server-side data.
